Sharon M. Brady is Senior Vice President, Human Resources of Illinois Tool Works Inc. (ITW), a Fortune 200 global diversified manufacturer of highly engineered components and industrial systems and consumables. With $15.9 billion in revenues, ITW is a multinational manufacturer of a diversified range of value-adding and short lead-time industrial products and equipment. The Company consists of 840 business units in 60 countries and employs some 60,000 people.

Prior to joining ITW in 2006, Ms. Brady was Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer of Snap-On Inc. in Pleasant Prairie, WI, where she was responsible for all Human Resource policies/programs worldwide. She has also served as Vice President, Human Resources of Sears, Roebuck & Co.�s Home Services Division and held various HR leadership roles, including Group Vice President, Human Resources for Baxter Healthcare.

Mrs. Brady earned her B.A. degree in Education from Benedictine College in Atchison, KS.

Mrs. Brady is a member of the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago and has served as the organization�s President as well as on the Board of Directors. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Aon Hewitt Human Capital Leadership Council and the Northwestern Memorial Hospital Foundation. Additionally, she is on the Board of Trustees for the Chicago Botanic Garden and the Music Institute of Chicago, where she serves as chair of the Board Affairs and Executive Compensation Committees. She is also a member of the Human Resources Policy Association, Personnel Round Table, Accenture CHRO and the Executives� Club of Chicago.
