Juan Valls

Executive Vice President

Juan Valls is executive vice president of the global automotive businesses of Illinois Tool Works Inc. (ITW), a Fortune 200 diversified manufacturer of highly engineered components and industrial systems and consumables with revenues of over $16.2 billion. The Company is headquartered in Glenview, Illinois and consists of approximately 825 decentralized operations in 52 countries and employs some 60,000 people globally.

Mr. Valls joined ITW in 1989 as business manager of ITW Nexus Europe. Mr. Valls is the first ITW executive vice president based outside of the United States. Prior to his position as executive vice president, he was vice president and general manager of ITW Delfast International automotive fasteners. He has held numerous European automotive management positions at ITW. He received his degree in business administration from ESADE in Barcelona.
