Juan Valls is Executive Vice President of Illinois Tool
Works Inc. (
ITW), a Fortune 200
diversified manufacturer of highly engineered components and industrial systems
and consumables. With $13.9 billion in revenues, ITW is a multinational
manufacturer of a diversified range of value-adding and short lead-time
industrial products and equipment. The Company consists of 840 business units in
57 countries and employs some 59,000 people.
Mr. Valls joined
ITW in 1989 as Business Manager of ITW Nexus Europe. Prior to his position, he
was Vice President and General Manager of ITW Delfast International Automotive
Fasteners. He has held numerous European automotive management positions at ITW.
He was named Executive Vice President in 2007. Mr. Valls is the first ITW executive
vice president based outside of the United States. He is responsible for the
Global Automotive businesses.
Mr. Valls
received his degree in business administration from ESADE in Barcelona.
Mr. Valls is a
member of Asociacion Antiguos alumnus
ESADE.
