Ronald D. Kropp Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of Illinois Tool Works Inc. ( ITW), a Fortune 200 diversified manufacturer of highly engineered components and industrial systems and consumables. With $13.9 billion in revenues, ITW is a multinational manufacturer of a diversified range of value-adding and short lead-time industrial products and equipment. The Company consists of 840 business units in 57 countries and employs some 59,000 people.
Mr. Kropp joined ITW in 1993 after six years at Arthur Anderson. Prior to his current position, Mr. Kropp was Vice President & Controller of Financial Reporting. In this role, he managed external reporting, corporate and tax accounting, country controllers, treasury, and internal audit. He has also served as Director of Corporate Accounting and Manager of Consolidated Reporting and Analysis. He was named Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer in 2006.
Mr. Kropp received a B.S. degree in Accounting from Northern Illinois University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
Mr. Kropp is a board member for Metropolitan Family Services. He is a committee member for the Executives' Club of Chicago.
